Islam and Christainity

Islam, which means submission to one true God, is the one and the only religion that came down to humanity at its very inception. From the very first man Prophet Adam (peace be upon him) to Noah, Abraham, Moses, and Jesus (peace be upon them) all the way to the last and final messenger Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) were part of the same chain of prophets sent by God towards humanity. Almost all prophets and messengers were sent to their nation/tribe with the scriptures and laws that were applicable to their people alone and to warn them of the day of reckoning until the next prophet was sent to them. It is reported that about 124,000 prophets/messengers were sent towards various nations during the human history. Hence all prophets mentioned in Judiac and Christian literatures are also considered prophets in Islam since they all carried the identical message of believing in one true Creator with no partner/equal and life on this earth as a test with its accountability in the hereafter. Prophet Moses and Prophet Jesus (Peace be upon them) were sent to the Children of Israel as mentioned in both the Old Testament and New Testament hence their message and scripture was also for a certain period and directed towards a specific nation. After Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) died, people from his nation started to amend the aspects of the law that didn't suit them by rewriting or changing or hiding the verses in the scripture that advocated those divine commands. Since those words were not meant to be divinely protected after a certain time, hence certain individuals with authority managed to distort the word of God to a certain extent. Things that were deemed forbidden were widely adopted and vice versa. Text was added to the scripture to use it for personal gain or to get the approval of the masses for a certain idea that appealed to the clergy. Many fabricated stories were injected into the Bible where certain prophets were depicted as sinful and under the influence of their desires that made them do horrific acts e.g., David and Lot. In addition to that, since there were no printing presses at the time, hence the copy of the Bible contained many errors and rewriting of these error prone books produced more errors and so on. A Muslim is a person who submits to the Will of one true God Allah Almighty. An individual belonging to a different faith once learn about prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), the last and final messenger, and doesn't accept his messenger/prophethood is not considered a Muslim. It is absolutely a must to believe in the one true God Allah Almighty, His messengers (Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad etc.; peace be upon them all), all divine scriptures, angels, Day of Judgment, His power on everything in order to be a believer in Islam. Quran is very clear on the subject. “And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam, it will never be accepted of him,” Quran (3: 85) The sin of 'Shirk' (associating partner with one true God) is the worst of all sin and can never be pardoned by the Almighty as per Quran. Surely Allah does not forgive that anything should be associated with Him, and forgives what is besides that to whomsoever He pleases; and whoever associates anything with Allah, he devises indeed a great sin. (Quran 4: 48) Regarding Jesus (peace be upon him), believing in his messenger hood is an integral part of our belief system. A person is not a Muslims if he/she doesn't believe in Jesus's miraculous birth, messenger hood, miracles that he performed and his lifting up in the sky alive. He is revered and loved by all Muslims and followed by them in terms of his deeds/actions which were but identical to Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and all the past messengers/prophets of Allah SWT. In Islam, we don't consider the previous prophets/messengers belonging to a different faith rather part of the overall Islamic history. The terms Judaism and Christianity were coined by the people long after their messengers left them and in reality those prophets/messengers were those who submitted to the Will of one true God and hence were 'Muslims' and had the identical lineage to Prophet Abraham(Peace be upon him) who wasn't a Jew or a Christian. The Arabs and Jews of today are connected to Abraham (peace be upon him) through his two sons; Ishmael and Isaac and as per Quran: Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was one inclining toward truth, a Muslim [submitting to Allah]. And he was not of the polytheists. Quran (3:67) Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him) was sent after Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) to remove the fabrications that were added to the religion and to bring the religion back to its pure form. He also made clear that he was sent to follow the law brought by Moses (peace be upon him) and his primary focus was to preach and remove the misconceptions and addition to the word of God. “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them"". Matthew 5:17 After Jesus (peace be upon him) was taken alive to the sky (Islamic belief), his words were compiled as an "inspired" word of God by his disciples. However, the same change phenomenon (mentioned above) happened to the Christian scripture as people with authority started to amend it willingly or otherwise over the period. For example, the term Trinity and its concept is not unambiguously mentioned anywhere in the Bible, yet it is considered to be the most fundamental aspect in the Christian faith and one can't be a Christian without believing it. History suggests that the said concept was injected by "Saint" Paul, an individual who not only never met Jesus (peace be upon him) while he was preaching but also used to persecute his followers. Jesus himself said in the Bible that: “I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.” Matthew 15:24 Yet after Jesus (peace be upon him) left, Peter claimed to have had an "epiphany" and started to preach that Jesus (peace be upon him) was sent to the entire humanity and that he is part of the Trinity (Father, Son, Holy Ghost), a concept that Jesus (peace be upon him) himself never preached and which in fact is against his original teachings. This new faith was later adopted by Emperor Constantine through the approval of the Council of Nicaea some 300 years after Jesus (peace be upon him) and made it an official religion of the Roman Empire due to political reasons. The true followers of Jesus (peace be upon him) went into hiding since their lives were at stake for speaking out the truth. Here are some references from the Bible itself about the inconsistencies and corruption in itself: Isaiah 48:8, Psalm 58:3, Psalm 25:3 and Jeremiah 8:8: The Jews from their birth are traitors and write lies. Galatians 1:6: Paul's gospel is different from Peter and team's gospel. Galatians 2:17-21: Paul condemns all Jewish Christians including Peter and Barnabas. Yet, Peter and others were supposedly filled with the Holy Spirit. During the early stages of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him)’s preaching, both Jews and Christians were invited to Islam and were referred to as people of Book. Children of Israel were reminded over and over in the Quran the favors and blessings that Allah has bestowed on them and made them a chosen nation during their glory days. Yet when they kept acting in a rebellious manner towards divine commands, they were eventually condemned and the title of chosen nation was handed over to the nation of the last and final messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) till the end of time. We believe that the last and final Messenger Prophet Muhammad (peace be him upon) was the seal of the prophets and the religion was perfected and preserved through him till the end of time hence he was sent to the entire humanity from his time till the end and there is no more prophet/messenger coming after him. Quran states about Children of Israel: "But do they not know that Allah knows what they conceal and what they declare? And among them are unlettered ones who do not know the Scripture except [indulgement in] wishful thinking, but they are only assuming. So woe to those who write the "scripture" with their own hands, then say, "This is from Allah," in order to exchange it for a small price. Woe to them for what their hands have written and woe to them for what they earn. (The Noble Quran, 2:77-79)" "O Messenger, let them not grieve you who hasten into disbelief of those who say, "We believe" with their mouths, but their hearts believe not, and from among the Jews. [They are] avid listeners to falsehood, listening to another people who have not come to you. They distort words beyond their [proper] places [i.e., usages], saying, "If you are given this, take it; but if you are not given it, then beware." But he for whom Allah intends fitnah - never will you possess [power to do] for him a thing against Allah. Those are the ones for whom Allah does not intend to purify their hearts. For them in this world is disgrace, and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment. (The Noble Quran, 5:41)" In the last and final divine revelation, Allah Himself has vowed to protect the Quran, the literal Word of God. Hence the Quran is preserved today in its Arabic text exactly the same way it was revealed 1400 years ago. There has been an oral tradition in Islam since the beginning where people memorize the entire Quran to the letter all around the world and hence it can never get corrupted since at any given moment, there are millions of people who literally protect the Quran in their chest and can reproduce it as a book on demand. There were many attempts made throughout history to corrupt the Quran but none of them was successful due to this beautiful mechanism of preservation of the Quran. Surely We have revealed the Reminder and We will most surely be its guardian. Quran(15:9) Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was foretold by all previous scriptures since he was the final messenger of Allah SWT till the end of times and hence believing in him means believing in his message means believing in the teachings of all prior messengers. We in Islam don't differentiate between Prophets/Messengers of Allah SWT since they are all beloved to the Almighty and hence beloved to all believers in the same way, however, Islam as we know today, was revealed 1400 years back after the revelation of the last testament Quran on Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) as the final message of Allah SWT which He Himself promised to protect. Hence believing in the oneness of Allah SWT and His final messenger is a must declaration in the Shahdah statement uttered by believers and those who revert to Islam in order to testify that Quran and all previous scriptures (in their original form) were also from Allah SWT. The difference between Jesus and Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon them both) was the former was sent only to Children of Israel while the later was sent to the entire humanity till the end of time. As far as Jesus's birth is concerned, Quran states: The similitude of Jesus before Allah is as that of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: "Be". And he was. Quran (3:59) In Islam, the way a person came into being is a miracle of the Creator and not of the creation, however, that creation will be beloved to us since he is beloved to Almighty but doesn't raise his status to divine. In the Song of Songs 5:16, Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is mentioned by name in the Hebrew recitation before the translation: https://fb.watch/hSJ92VYy_c/. Jesus (peace be upon him) himself gave glad tidings of a comforter (prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who will come after him and will teach people all things. 61:6, Qur'an [Remember] when Jesus, the son of Mary, said, "O Children of Israel, indeed I am the messenger of God to you, confirming what is in my hands of the Torah and bringing good news of a messenger to come after me - John 16:8 - 11, Gospel And when he has come, he will expose the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgement. Of sin, because they do not believe in me; of righteousness, because I go to my [Creator], and you see me no more; of judgement, because the prince of this world is judged. John 16:7, Gospel Nevertheless I tell you the truth; it is expedient for you that I go away, for if I do not go away, the Comforter will not come to you; but if I depart, I will send him to you - John 14:16, Gospel [For] I will ask the [Creator], and He will give you another Comforter, so that he may abide with you forever. John 15:26, Gospel [And] when the Comforter has come, whom I will send to you from the [Creator], [even] the Spirit of Truth, which proceeds from the [Creator], he will testify of me. John 14:26, Gospel [And] the Comforter, the Holy Spirit, whom the [Creator] will send in my name, he will teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said to you. John 16:13, Gospel [And thus,] when he, the Spirit of Truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth, for he will not speak from himself; but whatever he will hear, [that] he will speak, and he will show you things to come." 26:192 - 197, Qur'an [So] indeed, [the Qur'an] is the revelation of the Lord of the worlds. The Trustworthy Spirit has brought [the Qur'an] down upon your heart, [O Muhammad] - so that you may be among the warners in a clear Arabic language. And indeed, it is [mentioned] in the Scriptures of former [peoples]. And has it not been a sign to them that it is recognized by the scholars of the Children of Israel? 12:111, Qur'an [For] there was certainly a lesson in their stories for those of understanding. [The Qur'an] is not an invented narration, but a confirmation of what was before it and a detailed explanation of all things and guidance and mercy for a people who believe. 13:43, Qur'an [But] those who have disbelieved say, "You are not a messenger." Say, "God is sufficient as Witness between me and you, and whoever has knowledge of the Scripture - 16:102, Qur'an [For] the Holy Spirit has brought [the Qur'an] down from your Lord in truth to make those who believe firm and as guidance and good news to those in submission [to God]." 42:52, Qur'an And thus We have revealed a [Holy] Spirit to you, [O Muhammad], by Our command. You did not know what the Scripture is or [what] faith [is], but We have made it a light by which We guide whom We will of Our servants. And indeed, you guide to a straight path. 5:19, Qur'an [So] O People of the Scripture, Our messenger has come to you to make [the religion] clear to you after a period [of suspension] of messengers, unless you should say, "No bringer of good news or warner came to us." But a bringer of good news and a warner has come to you. And God is Powerful over all things. 3:193, Qur'an [So say,] "Our Lord, indeed we have heard a Caller [Comforter] calling to faith, [saying], 'Believe in your Lord,' and we have believed. Our Lord, so forgive our sins and remove our misdeeds from us and let us die with the righteous." As far as the term 'son' is concerned in the Bible, it's used for any believing individual and not an exclusive term used for Jesus (peace be upon only). Jacob is God's son and firstborn: "Israel is my son, even my firstborn" Exodus 4:22. Solomon is God's son "He shall build an house for my name, and I will establish the throne of his kingdom for ever. I will be his father, and he shall be my son": 2 Samuel 7:13-14. Ephraim is God's firstborn: "for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn" Jeremiah 31:9 (who is God's firstborn? Israel or Ephraim?). Adam is the son of God "Adam, which was the son of God" Luke 3:38. Common people (you and me) are the sons of God: "Ye are the children of the LORD your God" Deuteronomy 14:1. "For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God" Romans 8:14. "But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, [even] to them that believe on his name" John 1:12. "That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;" Philippians 2:15. "Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: ... now are we the sons of God" 1 John 3:1-2. "When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?" Job 38:7. "Again there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD," Job 2:1. "Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD," Job 1:6. "when the sons of God came in unto the daughters of men," Genesis 6:4. "That the sons of God saw the daughters of men that they [were] fair" Genesis 6:2 Regarding Jesus (peace be upon him) bringing a clay bird to life, it mentioned in Quran: “I create for you out of clay, a figure like that of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah’s Leave.” Quran (3:49, 5:110) Quran further states: “And it was not given to any Messenger that he should bring a Sign (Miracle) except by the Leave of Allah.” Quran (40:78, 13:38) “Those whom they invoke besides Allah have not created anything, but are themselves created.” Quran (16:20) In the end, I would like to reiterate the fact that there is only one true God. The clear attributes of one true God Allah SWT are given in Quran as follows: Say, ˹O Prophet,˺ “He is Allah—One ˹and Indivisible˺; Allah—the Sustainer ˹needed by all˺. He has never had offspring, nor was He born. And there is none comparable to Him.” Quran 112:1-4 Current Christianity is not what Jesus (peace be upon him) brought or taught, rather it's a twisted form of paganism (introduced by Paul) where a man is equated to Almighty God going against every commandment of the Old Testament. The event of crucifixion is the basis that Christians use to establish that God has a son who sacrified himself to save the humanity and all one has to do is to believe in his sacrifice in order to get a guaranteed ticket to paradise. Before we further dissect the event of crucifixion, lets analyze the claim itself. Now, this notion of associating partner to one God is wrong is so many ways. Christians believe in the teachings of the Old Testament and according to the first two commandments: First Commandment: “You shall have no other gods before me." Second Commandment: “You shall not make yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth. You shall not bow down to them or serve them, for I the Lord your God are only worthy of worship, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and the fourth generation of those who hate me, but showing steadfast love to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments." These two commandments themselves reject the claim that Christians make regarding the crucifixion of Jesus (peace be upon him). Christian's St. Paul regarded the crucifixion of Jesus as essential to the gospel (Rom 1:1–8; 1 Cor 15:3–4) and thus crucial for the forgiveness of sinners (1 Cor 15:17). So, essentially Christians base their entire faith on the notion of crucifixion and the forgiveness of the sinners due to the ultimate sacrifices by the supposed son of God, a claim that goes against the very principal of Old Testament's teaching of monotheism. Hence, it proves that there must be some kind of misrepresentation and corruption that took place after Jesus (peace be upon him) left this earth just like Quran claims. Some of the inconsistencies and contradictions about the Christian faith are highlighted below:
Jews use to falsely accuse Jesus (peace be upon him) for so many dreadful things and never accepted him in any capacity. Jesus (pbuh) only managed to gather a small number of believers during his mission. It was very apparent that anyone who is in control writes the history; Romans and Jews in this case, could have easily twisted the history specially since they were hostile towards Jesus (pbuh) and his followers. Hence, accepting their account of the event of crucifixion of Jesus (pbuh) can never be trusted. Also, based on both Biblical and Quranic literature, all messengers of God who were sent towards a nation to warm them, always triumped over their nations i.e. either their nation submitted and followed them e.g. Moses(pbuh) or got destroyed rejecting them e.g. Lot (pbuh). None of God's messenger was ever overpowered or killed by his nation since each one of them was the special representative of God and hence would never succumb to the pressure or get defeated in the end. So, the crucifxion of Jesus (pbuh) based on the religious philosophy and literature of the past is not possible since a messenger of God can never be defeated. As there was no other divine scripture that revealed between Injeel (New Testament) and Quran(Final testament), hence that event of supposed crucifixion was never clarified. It was only when Quran was revealed, the Jews of Medina were directly addressed, reminded and reprimanded that despite of the rejection by their ancestors and their attempt to kill him, Jesus(pbuh) remained unharmed and alive and is destined to come back near end times to finalize his mission. Quran claims that Jesus (pbuh) didn't die or crucified which precisely aligns with the notion that messengers of God are not left alone by the Creator rather He the Almighty safeguard them in the ways that are unique and miraculous. Moses (pbuh) parted the sea with Allah's permission when the Pharoah's army tried to approach his nation was also a clear sign of His majesty. Quran doesn't provide us much detail about how this entire event of crucifixion might have happend but the Bible of Barnabas suggests that it was Judas, the decipile of Jesus (pbuh) who deceived him and informed the Romans of his whereabout. However, when he was with Jesus(pbuh) inside the room waiting for the Romans to detain him, the roof opened up and angels came and lifted Jesus (pbuh) in the sky just before the Romans entered. Judas was known to be closest to Jesus (pbuh) in his appearance and Romans grabbed him and marched him out as supposed Jesus. The toruture that he had endured during his path to the cross must have scarred and darkened his face and people assumed that he was Jesus (pbuh) until the time he was crucified. Jesus (pbuh) on the other hand came down later to meet with his diciples without having any mark of torture or crucifixion. Allah Almighty has the right to do whatever He wills and the people who tried to crucify Jesus (pbuh) didn't deserve any mercy or had no right to know the truth after their failed attempt. They were divinely condemened due to the rejection of Allah's messenger and hence were put in exile as a result for centuries to come. Allah Almighty revelaed the truth at a later time through Quran and also reminded Jews that they were chosen people at one time and they can still get back their lost glory if they submit and come back to the original message through the last and final scripture called Quran. Yet Jews by enlarge rejected Allah's calling again despite of finding all characteristics of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) mentioned in their literature. Regarding millions of people getting misguided, it wasn't the immediate followers of Jesus (pbuh) who were misguided rather people who followed St Paul, an aggressive opposer of Jesus (pbuh) during his life time who also persecuted this followers. After Jesus (pbuh) was taken, Paul supposedly had an epiphany and started preaching that Jesus (pbuh) came down to him and told him to spread the Christanity with the belief of trinity and crucfixion as the basis of the faith. Paul nulified the law that Moses(pbuh) brought and Jesus(pbuh) confirmed and made a mokery out of the message of Jesus (pbuh). This new faith of Paul wasn't the mainstream faith at the time but was turned into one by Emperor Constantinople through the Council of Nicea some 300 years after Jesus (pbuh) when Romans accepted Christanity and made it the state religion. Constantinople wanted to have a signle brand of Christanity to become mainstream due to political reasons and he eventually chose the brand that suited him the most and resembled more with the paganism that Romans believed in the past and were willing to easily make the switch. All the rest of the Christian sects were banned and went into hiding. Regarding references about Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) in Old Testament: Acts 3: 22 For Moses said, ‘The Lord your God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your own people; you must listen to everything he tells you. Deuteronomy 34:10 "And there arose NOT a prophet since in Israel LIKE unto Moses." However, Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) was unlike Jesus (Peace be upon him) and very much like Muhammad (peace be upon him). Quran equated Jesus (peace be upon him) with Adam (peace be upon him) in their birth: Quran [3:59] Indeed, the example of Jesus to Allah is like that of Adam. He created Him from dust; then He said to him, “Be,” and he was. As per the historical and religious records, following are the comparison between these three personalities.
“I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers; I will put my words in his mouth, and he will tell them everything I command him.” (The Holy Bible, New International Version, Deuteronomy chapter 18, verse 18). The reference to the above Deuteronomy verse suggests that the prophecy was about a person who will be from their brethren and not from among themselves. The term 'Brothers' in this case refers to the cousins of children of Israel or the children of Ishmael (Arabs). Ishmael and Isaac (may be peace be upon them) were brothers and son to Abraham (peace be upon him) who was the forefather of and common father between Jews and Arabs. Quran states about Muhammad (peace be upon him): Quran [53:3-4] Nor does he speak out of desire. It is nothing less than a inspiration that is inspired to him Quran [2:129] Our Lord, and send among them a messenger from themselves who will recite to them Your verses and teach them the Book and wisdom and purify them. Indeed, You are the Exalted in Might, the Wise." The verse below from John suggests that he will be a holy person who will be sent after Jesus and will teach all things to his followers. “But the Counselor, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.” John 14:25-26 Rest assured that Islam is the only religion that is acceptable to the Almighty Allah SWT since it remains to be the pure monotheistic religion while the rest of the other faiths have been contaminated with Shirk (associating partner(s) to God) and hence will be rejected. Btw, I am not here to advocate for the mistreatment of minorities in certain muslim countries since that is against Islam since their lives, property and faith should be protected under Islam and anyone who is violating that will be held accountable on the day of judgement. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) was sent as the final messenger and he fought against those who fought him and pardoned those who weren't aggressors. He lived in a miserable situation in Makkah during his initial 13 years of prophethood peacefully but remained patient despite all the physical and verbal violence against him and his people. He migrated to Madina where the locals after accepting Islam accepted him as their leader. He defended Madina from the aggressors of Makkah until they entered into a peace treaty with them. The Makkans later violated that treaty and hence as a consequence, Muslims marched towards Makkah and took it over without much fighting. Then the disbelievers of Makkah were given an option to see Islam in practice for several months and then either accept it without compulsion or leave the city in peace or else they will be fought against. Btw, that command was applicable only to the city of Makkah since it was declared the Holy city and only believers were allowed to live there going forward. As I mentioned earlier, Prophet Muhammad and Prophet Moses (peace be upon them both) had similar circumstances and they both came with a law that needed implementation and hence they had to fight against all the opposition to establish that law. Jesus (peace be upon him) didn't bring any new law as he came to rejuvenate the law of Moses (peace be upon him) and also was taken away during his prime only to return back during the end time as a fighter to fight against the enemies of God in order to complete his mission. Btw, having multiple wives was a common practice among all Biblical prophets hence Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) also continued that practice since that is allowed by the Almighty. Although Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) performed several miracles during his life as mentioned in Hadiths (e.g. parting of moon etc.), his greatest miracle is the Quran which stayed in its original text in the language it was revealed and is the literal word of God. Since the Quran was revealed for the entire mankind till the end times, hence focusing on miracles performed thousands of years back that can't be proven or disproven is not the basis that Islam is preached upon. Christians can't prove Jesus (peace be upon him) performed those miracles in any way, shape or form in the present time and just have to believe in them blindly and same goes for the Jews believing in Moses(peace be upon him) miracles. However, for Muslims, our biggest miracle Quran is available right here right now in the present time whose single statement can't be disproved in the last 1400 years despite countless attempts. The statements mentioned in the Quran related to science still comply with the most recent and modern scientific discoveries since the Word and Work of God can't be in disagreement.

Pathetic State of Muslim World of Today

Question:
"If Islam is so wonderful , how do you explain the rampant poverty and theocratic and authoratarian dictatoships. Why are the muslims going to the so called decandent western countries to make a better life?Westerners don't ever seek to live in your islamic countries. Judaeo-christrian values breed better democratic and properous nations. Please explain the value of your islamic dictatorship regimes."

My reply:
The present day dictatorship of the Muslim majority countries is a phenomenon that started after the colonization of the Muslim world and was imposed by the "peace and democracy loving" western powers. The western powers were eventually compelled to physically leave but left the people of those countries with their pet slaves as rulers so to have a continued proxy control in the future. The western powers have one set of ethics and rule for their own people and other for the rest of the world hence people from 3rd world countries find more security while living in the west as opposed to their own countries where an environment of constant anarchy & chaos is imposed by the stooges of west through their corruption and violation of basic human rights of their country men by placing hurdles in their way to prosperity. Muslims masses also should be partially blamed for that mess since they should have gotten united and rose against such corrupt leaders but they are kept so busy in solving the petty issues of their daily lives that they don't find enough time and energy to stand up against such tyrants in the midst of their effort of mere survival.

In the past, Muslim Spain enjoyed a similar status as present day USA since Europe was in dark ages as Catholic church use to massacre groups of their own people whenever their religion was questioned. Jews were abused & butchered for centuries and the reason behind the birth of Protestant sect was this injustice and brutality of the church. At that time, Europeans use to come to Muslim Spain seeking better living standard and advanced education. The universities of Toledo and Qordoba were the main reason for the later European renaissance. George Bernaudshaw stated that if Muslim Spain hadn't fallen, humanity would have reached the moon 200 years earlier. When the entire Europe was in dark, the streets of Qordoba were brightly lit and the ora of prosperity and progressiveness was in the air. Muslim civilization had made a major contribution towards the modernity of Europe and the west that way we know today.

Every individual has the basic human right to prosper under an environment where their freedom is protected whether it be under Muslim or Christian rule. Every nation goes through the phases of their rise and fall that results due to their actions misguided or otherwise since that is the divine law that applies to all nations and at this time Muslims are in declining phase as a direct consequence of deserting their religion the way it was revealed to be followed. Once they get back to the just, humane, ethical and moral aspects of their faith, they will get back to the place of significance on the world stage.

Muslims Amidst The Immorality Of West

Many Muslims, predominantly from Indo-Pak, tend to believe in the concept that the presence of Muslims in the West is in no way permissible or in other word, 'haram' according to the Islamic principles. However, early Islamic history suggests that the Muslims had migrated to other non-Islamic countries not only for the purpose of spreading religion but also for obtaining financial gains and settling down. It is not considered haram in Islam to relocate to other countries for providing better living for one's family as long as one could individually follow Islam in its true form. Allah (SWT) created this entire world for the benefit of humanity and didn't restrict Muslims to stay at the place of their birth. Instead, this entire earth was given to us humans to live, prosper and offer prayer to our creator. Allah (SWT) has said in the Quran:

Behold, thy Lord said to the angels: "I will create a vicegerent on earth." (Al-Baqra: 30)

As suggested above, no where in Quran can it be witnessed that Muslims are to restrict themselves only to their place of birth. The presence of a true Muslim is like a torch in the dark and lits up the entire environment.

It is mentioned in Quran, that angels will inquire the following from those people who didn't practice Islam before taking out their soul:

When angels take the souls of those who die in sin against their souls, they say: "In what (plight) Were ye?" They reply: "Weak and oppressed Were we in the earth." They say: "Was not the earth of Allah spacious enough for you to move yourselves away (From evil)?" Such men will find their abode in Hell,- What an evil refuge! - (An-Nisa:97)

This verse means that Allah(SWT) want from us to practice Islam whether we live in between the majority of muslims or in a secular western country. Incase, if there is any hurdle for us to practice Islam then we are advised to migrate to an environment feasible for our religious practices. We muslims, despite of having a general bias against west have to recognize that we generally get more rights in western countries as opposed to our own countries. Islam gives humanity a choice to choose their faith and despite of being in the west, we have that choice to practice Islam individually in its true form. We have mosques established in every other block of all major cities where local muslims pray five times in congregation, as well as on Jummah and Eideen. Muslims pay their zakat, offer hajj, and perform all rituals that our religion demands from us without any restriction. We have many Islamic schools providing quality education to the kids of those muslim parents who want to raise their children in an Islamic environment. We have the opportunity of dawah on our hand at every moment of our life where we could make non-muslims aware of the beauty of Islam. We have lectures, conferences and interfaith meetings throughout the year. There are various Islamic institutes which teache indepth knowledge of Islam to young and old alike. If we have all these opportunities then why should we think that living in West is against Islam? Why can't we spread the light of Islam to every one living near to us? No doubt there are alot of bad practices also in these countries as well but the influence of those bad practices could now even be witnessed in more traditional Islamic countries also with every passing year. The world has turned into a global village and we can't restrict ourselves from the exposure of those evils due to the technological reach. We have to educate ourselves and our next generation to tackle such evils head-on and eradicate them from the face of this earth instead of running away from them.

We have to remember also that after the first migration of early muslims towards Habsha, many of them stayed in that Christian country despite of the fact that an Islamic State was formed in Medina over a decade ago. They did their business, they married locals, and they preached their faith etc. Habsha, which is now known as Ethopia, is a Muslim dominating country and is only so due to the efforts of those early muslims.

The main question that is usually confusing to Muslims population in general is as follows:

Are we going against Islam by living in a immoral society of the West? and should we move away from West after witnessing these immoralities?

It is quite evident that Muslims in the West along with the rest of the people are exposed to immorality of their civilization in a variety of situations during their every day lives. A simple walk in metropolitan cities like New York, Chicago or London would enable a person to witness the height of immorality in terms of revealing clothing of the young girls/women, immoral actions and activities around him etc. Some people suggest that the best practice is to not to live and breath in places like such. However, one has to realize that the morality of the humanity in general is on the decline whether we live in a Western country or in a predominantly Muslim country. Are we not witnessing a similar set of immorality in countries like UAE, Bahrain, Egypt, and Turkey etc.? What should we suggest to the Muslims of those countries to do? Are we also not witnessing a surge of such trends in more conservative countries like Pakistan, sweeping slowly the general public, especially young generation, towards the same immoral norms & shameless practices? Where should the Muslims of those countries run away from such evil among them? As suggested above, Allah (SWT) sent humans to this world as His vicegerent, with the following duties:

- To follow the divine guidance and bring about changes in their lives according to the set of attributes bestowed upon them by Allah (SWT).
- To propagate these superior morale and ideology to the rest of the people in the society, Muslims/Non-Muslims by means of their practices both in terms of verbal and physical conduct.
In a verse of Surah Al-Noor, Muslim boys/men have be instructed by Allah (SWT) the following:

Say to the believing men that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty: that will make for greater purity for them: And Allah is well acquainted with all that they do. (Al-Noor:30)

In another verse, muslims women/girls have been given a similar instruction:

And say to the believing women that they should lower their gaze and guard their modesty; that they should not display their beauty and ornaments except what (must ordinarily) appear thereof; that they should draw their veils over their bosoms and not display their beauty except to their husbands, their fathers, their husband's fathers, their sons, their husbands' sons, their brothers or their brothers' sons, or their sisters' sons, ..... (Al-Noor:31)

These verse clearly suggests that Muslims, regardless of their presence in a Muslim or Non-Muslim country have been commanded by Allah (SWT) to lower their gaze whenever they are in a situation where their modesty could be compromised by satanic urges arising due to an immoral exposure. At the next level, we Muslims are required by Allah (SWT) to make an effort towards the eradication of that immorality by means of preaching the true ideology to the people whom we interact.

Muslims living in the West have an important duty to perform in addition to meeting their personal financial obligations, and that duty is the propagation of Islam through oral and physical dawah at every possible chance they get during their interaction with the non-Muslims. Some people are of the view that all Muslim should strictly stay in an Islamic country having the Shariah law. Unfortunately, in the present world there is not even a single country which could be referred to as an Islamic state having the implementation of true Shariah Law. Without divine shariah we could never imagine that the true morality could nourish & flourish among us in a collective manner.

In the midst of this global turmoil that the Muslim Ummah is currently facing, the only way to stay Muslim and propagate the light of Islam is through the implementation of the true Islamic ideals in one’s own life as the very first step. The Islamic values of ethics, honesty, truthfulness and morality must become an integral part of our lives so that the others would witness the beauty of Islam through us in its true and beautiful form and hence would attract towards that goodness and as a conseuquence, the world would become a better place to live.
